The setup for Zeon Reborn needs to accomplish four things: Have Char take power, remove Gihren from power, get Ranba Ral on Garma's side, give Garma a commanding position. Sola is runner up for best character, but that's because her competition is so poor.she does close to nothing in Liberation Day.Ĭould you talk about the mobile suits our Titans are using?Īs for Zeon Reborn, I stand by my previous judgment: Claude on the other hand is entirely a one note character who is just there to be a living gag until the point she isn't living anymore, which hilariously comes moments after she finally develops as a character and becomes interesting for once. Kryska I don't think understands social interaction, but Icari does have a thing for her it seems.though she also has a thing for Kayto. Turns out they both were right though, and I wish we could have thrown Chigara out an airlock and NOT started another war. Chigara could have had an interesting clone dynamic, but instead they spend no real time developing it beyond "SHES NOT ONE OF THEM, BELIEVE US" and having the only people who question her be jealous (Ava and Asaga), thus discrediting them in the eyes of the other characters. In Academy she's wholly forgettable and her twin sister in it actually is the more interesting character, since they aren't just the cookie cutter nice girl. Literally never delves beyond that, never possesses a character arc, never really does anything but be forced on the main character. On the other hand, Chigara never evolves beyond "nice girl who can science, but wants to bake instead". Despite this, she rebuffs Kayto's possible advances on her because she is too stubborn to not stand by her original decision to leave, and her obsession with procedure and duty gives her an excuse to keep him at arms length.
She left Kayto behind because she wasn't able to handle her feelings for him, and hoped that they would die with distance and time.they didn't, and seeing him grow closer to Chigara on the ship slowly drives Ava crazy even though she knows she has no right to be. She works hard at things that ultimately don't matter because someone has to fill certain roles, and she doesn't really want anyone's thanks for it. She loves Kayto because they've been friends forever and he's the only person whose been able to put up with her cold facade she holds to hide her pain and personal insecurity. She is so emotionally distant because her father, who she idolized, horribly beat her all throughout her childhood and she could not reconcile the man she idolized with the one who treated her horribly. She knows this, and it chips away at her own stalwart confidence, so she tries to mask it by appearing to be in complete control of her emotions. Ava is a hardass who is capable of giving orders, but not inspiring, which is why she is disliked by those below her since she does not possess personal charisma.

Asaga is annoying, while Ava is the only 3 dimensional character in the game series (having played Mask of Arcadius, Academy, and Liberation Day).
